Pockets full of money

When I say “Pockets full of money” what comes to your mind first??? Well, it is of course a rich merchant, who has earned loads of money and carries them around, isn’t it? It is true; I am going to say about an interesting group of rich people in Sri Lanka. They are the parliment ministers of the country. This is a picture of the current parliment in Sri Lanka…

This statement is a famous saying within the poor as well as the medal calss families that the ministers are taking a lot of money and not utilizing them for the development of the country, but they take it for their personal lives. The money which I am talking is about the money which is planned in the yearly budgets of the country. I exactly don’t know if it is true or wrong as we, the public don’t get to see the back stage of everything, but what I know is that all the plans which the government does are not happening and it is a question that everyone asks… “What happened to the money, then???”

Read the next post  which is “What happened to the money, then???” to get more the answer….

  1. This is a really good question. For me, I think the money is enough if we spend it around but a lot of people never want to spend it.

Nice question Crys. I like the post.

  5. This is not only the problem with Srilanka ,Cristal. But I think this is oen of the biggest problem of the developing countries and this is the major obstacle for the progress of these countries.
